🚀 The Job Mission
You will play a leading role in the management of 20 valve system packages at a large-scale nuclear power station. This includes technical oversight, supplier interface, and installation support. Your future team is critical to ensuring engineering excellence across Nuclear Island and Balance of Plant areas.
⚡️ Lead the technical lifecycle of safety and non-safety-classified valve systems
⚡️ Oversee supplier deliverables, focusing on ASME-compliant valves
⚡️ Review method statements and support installation readiness
⚡️ Act as key resolver for blockers affecting construction or commissioning
⚡️ Participate in inspections and installation walkdowns
⚡️ Collaborate with French engineering teams and reference plant experts
⚡️ Ensure design intent and system functionality is preserved throughout delivery
Essential Skills:
🛠 Minimum 8 years in nuclear or high-integrity industrial environments
🛠 Engineering degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Process, or Nuclear
🛠 Strong knowledge of ASME codes for pressure-retaining equipment
🛠 Ability to lead multi-stakeholder engineering coordination
Desired Skills:
✔️ Understanding of surveillance, walkdown and test readiness protocols
✔️ Experience managing large valve scope across complex infrastructures
✔️ Knowledge of CDM regulations and UK nuclear processes
✔️ Proficiency in TQ and Technical Deviation workflows
