JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Technical Manager to join our agile delivery teams in London. This role is critical in ensuring efficient and coordinated delivery across multiple teams, resolving dependencies, managing technical risks, and fostering collaboration to achieve program objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the Solution Architect to ensure technical designs align with overall architecture, standards, and guidelines.
• Lead and participate in Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and high-level technical design during discovery and solution design phases.
• Provide accurate sizing estimates ("T-Shirt" estimation) for features and initiatives.
• Contribute to Program Increment (PI) preparation and planning sessions.
• Oversee delivery coordination across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
• Work closely with Scrum Teams to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Remove blockers to enable team progress and ensure effective delivery of features.
• Align cross-team activities, including collaboration with external/third-party teams.
• Facilitate communication and coordination across functions and delivery teams.
• Monitor progress against goals, resolving technical dependencies and risks.
• Optimize team performance and delivery quality through continuous improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in a Tech Lead or Senior Developer role within agile environments.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software design and architecture.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience in multi-team environments.
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery practices and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is a plus.
• Experience in leading technical estimations, resolving dependencies, and driving solution alignment.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
