Job Description Summary
The Digital & Marketing Technology Team is responsible for marketing technology within the LSEG Technology organization. Our current MarTech stack includes Oracle Marketing Cloud (Eloqua), Salesforce CRM, Interact and Unica (IBM), Workfront and other applications, and is growing to include additional cloud-enabled technologies to support marketing planning, marketing content, demand generation, lead flow, and marketing attribution.
The Digital & Marketing Technology team is growing, and looking for versatile self-starters who want to learn new technologies and take ownership of projects. This position is responsible for driving business requirements for new technologies, managing releases, and 2nd level support and development of marketing automation platforms, including integration with other Digital Marketing tools and MarTech applications that are used across the Marketing Funnel and Customer Buying Journey. This technology is used to generate leads, handle the lead flow to Sales, and report on marketing attribution for leads and sales opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and document business and technology requirements, including business processes, data flow/governance, and reporting.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously with skill, attention to detail, persistence, and a focus on results.
- Support and train others on new technology features and improvements
- Coordinate release management communications.
- Continually seek opportunities to improve implementation and training on marketing technology.
- Analyze metrics on implementation and utilization of key marketing technology platforms for global marketing campaigns.
- Assist in defining marketing technology roadmaps, including integration of new platforms, and expansion or consolidation of existing systems.
- Lead all aspects of technical implementation teams, including vendors, peers and direct reports.
Required Skills
- Bachelors or Master’s in information science, Computer Science, or related field with technical experience
- 7+ years’ experience with marketing platform’s: Eloqua or Marketo or Pardot (Eloqua Preferred)
- Experience working with Adobe CDP (Adobe Experience Cloud) or Segment or Insider or Klaviyo or Bloomreach platforms (Adobe AEC Preferred)
- Demonstrated ability with agile development and project management tools such as JIRA
- Demonstrated ability working within Data and advanced knowledge of SQL
- Understand how to use APIs to create automations and integrations.
- Demonstrated ability in business analysis, product management, or marketing technology
- Experience working with marketing operations in a production at scale.
- Possess good interpersonal skills to communicate and influence others in a cross-functional, global environment.
- Logical approach to problem solving and strong analytical skills and techniques.
- Ability to source, initiate, and drive improvements to marketing technology systems.
- Is comfortable raising questions, understanding true needs from stakeholders, and dealing with ambiguity.
- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from various sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high level information into details and synthesize low-level information to a general understanding.
- Know our data architecture and understand how it impacts customer segmentation and marketing enablement.
- Is a team player, self-motivated with a good work ethic and a positive attitude towards understanding business and technical complexities.
