(Engineering & AI Platforms)

Location: Bristol In-House/Hybrid

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience Level: Mid–Senior

Salary: £50k - £70k DOE

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and technically fluent Project Manager to coordinate delivery across multiple engineering teams building our AI communications platform. You will manage timelines, priorities, dependencies, and communication across Backend, Frontend, Telephony, DevOps, and AI/ML functions.

This role is ideal for someone who understands modern software development and can keep complex, cross-functional projects running smoothly.

Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery & Planning

Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery tracking across teams.
Manage dependencies between frontend, backend, voice, infrastructure, and AI workstreams.
Ensure milestones and releases are delivered on time and to scope.

Stakeholder Communication

Act as the main coordination point between engineering, product, and leadership.

Translate business priorities into clear engineering delivery plans.

Provide regular progress updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.

Process & Workflow

Improve agile processes, sprint rituals, and delivery visibility.
Help teams remove blockers and streamline collaboration.
Support scaling of engineering operations as the platform grows.

Technical Coordination

Understand system architecture well enough to manage cross-team impacts.
Coordinate testing, staging, and production releases with QA and DevOps.
Help plan infrastructure, voice platform, and AI deployments.

What We’re Looking For

4+ years experience managing software development projects.
Strong understanding of web platforms, APIs, cloud systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Comfortable managing fast-moving, technically complex projects.
Experience with Agile / Scrum / Kanban methodologies.

Nice to Have

Experience with AI or data-driven products.

Familiarity with telephony or real-time communication platforms.

Technical background in software development or engineering.

Experience scaling teams or platforms in startup or growth environments.
