Technical Specification Advisor

We are recruiting for two Technical Specification Advisors to join our Flooring Team! The role is to provide technical advice and support via phone/email to customers, clients, sales & specification teams and internal staff for Tremco CPG UK Ltd.'s flooring division including an extensive range of Flowcrete resin floor finishes and floor screed solutions.

Duties Include:

• Manage technical enquiries received via Twilio phone system, Microsoft Teams, mobile phone calls & emails. Calls can originate from: Architects, Specifiers, Main Contractors, Installers, end users as well as internal calls from the general Tremco CPG sales force. 
• Working in conjunction with the Regional Specification Managers to capture relevant project information into the company CRM system (Salesforce). 
• Raising of detailed specifications in both NBS & Flowcrete model format as requested by Specification Managers, Area Sales Managers, Architects & Contractors. 
• Review of architectural specifications submitted by key influencers for approval. 
• Issuing of project warranty requests, Technical & MSDS data sheets & information to contractors. 
• Training for internal stakeholders.
• Maintenance & review of technical application instructions, including review & input of application guides for new products.
• Maintenance & review of the internal product guidance (The Green Book).
• Review of technical information on the NBS database. 

Successful candidates will have the following:

• A sound working knowledge of resins and screeds flooring products and specifications. 
• An understanding of the specification process within construction.
• Familiarity of building construction techniques & the ability to interpret architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of CRM Systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication
