Technology Documentation & Training Specialist
Position Title: Technology Documentation, Training and Adoption

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technology Documentation, Training and Adoption resource to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive technical documentation, developing user-friendly training materials, and facilitating technology adoption utilizing varied delivery methods to maximise end user engagement across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with technical writing experience looking to advance their careers in the technology sector. This will be an initial 6 month contract.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation Management
- Research and compile technical documentation on the latest technology standards and best practices
- Translate complex technical concepts into language that is accessible to non-technical audiences.
- Create and maintain accurate user documentation for all end user applications and systems
- Develop concise documentation that serves both end users and internal support teams
- Maintain and update documentation to reflect changes in technology, processes, or policies.
Training Development and Delivery
- Work with Knowledge Management and Branding & Communications teams to ensure alignment on user communications across all internal communications channels – email, intranet, wiki pages, digital signage endpoints, etc.
- Conduct in-person training sessions for new technology implementations and system updates
- Facilitate virtual adoption sessions using various online platforms and collaboration tools
- Provide initial and ongoing training and education for users in the operation of technology systems
User Support and Adoption
- Work with users at all levels of the organization to determine training needs and learning preferences
- Gather requirements from end users to improve training effectiveness and documentation quality
- Work across both product and engineering teams to understand products and services in order to translate complex technical concepts into Millennium specific user-friendly training materials and workflows
- Track training completion rates and user adoption metrics to measure program effectiveness
- Provide feedback to management on process improvements and training program enhancements
Qualifications
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in creation of technical documentation and training delivery, preferably in the technology sector.
- Strong understanding of end user technologies and emerging technology trends
- Experience with Adobe Premier Pro or equivalent technical design and content creation applications
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users
- Strong presentation skills for delivering effective training sessions
- Ability to create clear, concise, and engaging training materials for diverse audiences
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
