About The Role
We’re looking for a Mid-Senior TechOps engineer to join our TechOps team at Pleo.
In this role, you’ll focus on supporting end-users by resolving day-to-day issues, managing requests through a ticketing system, and assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes. You’ll also help maintain and gradually improve our existing setups and automations, with guidance from the team.
You will be responsible for resolving complex issues through the ticketing system, be a subject matter expert in the team, and guide and mentor more junior engineers.
You’ll work closely with People Tech engineers, as well as the Workplace and Security teams. You’ll also interact with employees across the entire company, providing in-person support in our Lisbon/London office, helping prepare for internal events, and ensuring meeting rooms and office technology are fully operational.

You are a hyper-specialist who relies on structure. We’re still a very small team that believes in excelling generally. We all have our areas of focus and expertise, but everyone is expected to have a base level of knowledge everywhere. If you prefer to work in an environment where you can focus solely and entirely on only your “favourite” problem areas, it’s likely this role is not a good fit
Who You’ll Be Working With And Reporting To
You’ll report to the TechOps Team Lead and work closely with many other teams once the ticket becomes a project. The TechOps team is part of the Enterprise Engineering group at Pleo.
The package
The annual salary for this position varies based on your location:
- EUR 70,000 - 75000 per annum
