Offshore Telecoms Commissioning Engineer | Offshore Wind | £750/day | UK Rotation
Join a global energy leader on a major offshore wind project. We’re seeking an experienced Offshore Telecoms Commissioning Engineer to deliver critical telecom systems commissioning offshore. This is a rotational role (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off) mobilising from Northeast England.
Key Details:
- Start: October / November 2025
- Duration: 6 months + extensions
- Rate: £750/day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
- Clearance: BPSS + Medical + Right to Work
Your Impact:
- Commission fibre optic networks, IT/OT systems, VOIP, TETRA, LTE
- Troubleshoot and resolve telecom issues offshore
- Support integration with LV power systems
- Produce accurate test reports and punch lists
- Act as offshore technical focal point for telecoms
What We’re Looking For:
- Offshore telecoms commissioning experience (fibre testing, VOIP, LTE/TETRA)
- Familiarity with network hardware (switches, access points)
- Offshore wind experience preferred (oil & gas considered)
- Valid offshore safety and medical certs (BOSIET/GWO)
