Our Recycling England division is growing, and we’re looking for a driven Telesales Executive to join our Regional Sales team and play a key role in securing new business opportunities.

About the Role
As a Telesales Executive, you will be focused on generating regional sales growth through proactive telephone-based sales, targeting a variety of sectors across the UK. Your main focus will be driving the growth of our trade offer, creating long-term value for the business, and building strong relationships with potential clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively make outbound calls to exceed sales and activity targets.
  • Identify, develop, and manage a robust sales pipeline using our CRM system.
  • Prepare and submit tailored proposals based on client needs.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective customers and key internal teams.
  • Direct relevant prospects to our field sales team for further engagement.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, reporting key developments.
  • Use social media (e.g., LinkedIn) and industry news to identify new opportunities.
  • Participate in sales meetings, corporate events, and other business development activities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the sales process.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven telesales or sales/customer service experience with a track record of meeting targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and IT proficiency.
  • Resilient, driven, and able to work independently.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service and exceeding targets.
Desirable
  • Experience in recycling, waste management, or related industries.
  • Outstanding proposal writing and presentation skills.
