Temporary Assistant Product Manager

Join us as an Assistant Product Manager on the John Sands Strategic Account Team, supporting UK Greetings, American Greetings, and John Sands Australia. You’ll help select and communicate global product lines for the ANZ market, shaping the products millions of people celebrate with.

We’re looking for a Temporary Assistant Product Manager to join our team in Dewsbury. This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle for these brands, while developing your product management skills in a supportive environment.

With hybrid working (just two core office days per week), flexible hours, and a comprehensive benefits package, this role provides support and balance for your working life.

This is a temporary position expected to last approx. 9-12 months.

What You’ll Be Doing:

·      Supporting the Product Manager in planning and delivering product ranges from concept to launch for UK Greetings, American Greetings, and John Sands Australia

·      Assisting with forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring sales performance

·      Coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth product delivery

·      Contributing to product development ideas and improvements

·      Maintaining accurate product data and supporting reporting requirements

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

·      Strong organisational and time management skills

·      Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

·      Ability to analyse data and support decision-making

·      Enthusiasm for learning and developing within product management

·      A full clean Driving License, as some travel is expected

Desirable:

·      Previous experience in product or range management

·      Knowledge of the Greeting Card/Gift Wrap Industry

·      Experience with budgeting or forecasting
