Our client, a well known media group, is seeking a Temporary Commercial Finance Analyst to join their team for an initial 6 month assignment with the strong potential to extend. The successful candidate will be a recently qualified accountant with strong financial modelling skills and planning and forecasting experience. The role is to start immediately.

Description

The responsibilities of the Temporary Commercial Finance Analyst include, but are not limited to:

• Manage and prepare budgets, forecasts and drive long term revenue.
• Review and rebuild the 5 year forecast model.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, board packs and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Provide support with various ad hoc projects as needed.

Skills

The skills of the Temporary Commercial Finance Analyst include, but are not limited to:

• Proven background in financial planning and analysis, preferably in media or similar industry.
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Highly proficient in financial modelling, both reviewing, analysing and rebuilding.
• Skilled in using financial systems and possesses advanced knowledge of Excel – PowerBI.
• Thrives under pressure and excels at delivering results within demanding, fast-paced settings.
