Bouygues UK has a fantastic opportunity available for a
Temporary Works Coordinator to work on a brand-new project in
Exeter. The project is a long term and large-scale student accommodation project that we are very excited to be delivering.
Job Purpose
Responsibility for the coordination and control of all activities related to the temporary works on the project.
Key Tasks
- Prepare and continually update the Temporary Works Register
- To manage the daily activities of subcontractors, in respect Of Health and Safety, Quality and programme
- Ensure that responsibility for each temporary work activity across the whole project is allocated to a competent person and that they have accepted the responsibility.
- Ensure that any parties involved in TW have adequate temporary works procedures in place
- Subcontractor management to ensure projects are delivered on time and compliant
- Check that Permits to proceed / load / unload are issued
- Check that TW are adequately inspected in accordance with the design requirements and recorded
- Temporary works Design check is done by competent person in line with the design Brief
About You
- Construction Site Management experience
- Temporary Works accreditations & experience
- Excellent management skills
- Excellent self-organisation skills and ability to organize others
- Knowledge of UK building regulations
- Ability to drive program
- High levels of quality standards
- Attention to H&S matters
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
