This position works in the Abbott Diabetes Care division (ADC). The ADC division focuses on providing innovative diabetes care solutions to improve patient outcomes and streamline healthcare processes.

As the Territory Manager covering North Central London you’ll have the chance to drive patient acquisition, sales, and market share growth of the Abbott Diabetes FreeStyle Libre system and broader FreeStyle product portfolio. You will target ICS/ICB/Health Boards/Trusts and diabetes centres in specialist and primary care, building effective partnerships and educating healthcare professionals on the use of the FreeStyle Libre system.
What You’ll Do
- Engaging in the field to drive patient acquisition, sales and awareness of the Abbott Diabetes care products and associated digital ecosystem across target accounts, through the execution of national strategy and engagement of healthcare professionals, key customers and patients in target Trusts, ICBs and PCNs.
- Educating, training patients and providing support on the use of FreeStyle Libre and the FreeStyle Libre digital health solutions.
- Educating and training HCP’s in the interpretation of the Ambulatory Glucose Profile report, the LibreView reporting suite and all FreeStyle Libre applications to establish FreeStyle Libre as the new standard for diabetes care in everyday clinical practice.
- Building effective partnerships with target accounts by matching ADC’s solutions and value-added services to identified customer needs and driving mutually productive outcomes through the successful leveraging of local guidelines and pathways.
- Implementing LHE guidance and patient pathways, and maximising guidance / formulary pull through via the upgrade of target patient cohorts to the FreeStyle Libre system.
- Develop and leverage customer advocacy for ADC and its brands with key consultants, DSNs, clinical leads, payer customers and patient / patient associations.
- Work with local ADC colleagues to develop and execute account plans to increase ADC sales & market share.
Required Qualifications
- Further or higher education
- Proven sales experience with strong selling skills
- Experience and proficiency in remote engagement platforms
- In-person and remote selling skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Negotiating skills with the ability to problem solve
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- To be considered for this role you must live on territory or be willing to relocate to live on patch.
