Role Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Test Analyst to work within our Technical Delivery stream to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications or systems, based on business and technical requirements. You will work closely with Developers, Business Analysts and stakeholders to effectively plan and execute all test activities required to successfully deliver quality outcomes for IT software, infrastructure and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare test plans, test scripts and test data.
- Execute testing in an appropriate, efficient and methodological manner to maximize the robustness of software and system releases.
- To understand functional & Non-Functional requirements and software design to target tests scenarios towards the most effective tests.
- To produce clear, structured and useful documentation.
- Functional testing, design, prepare and execute a wide range of testing approaches.
- Non-Functional Testing, design, prepare and execute a wide range of testing approaches.
Requirements
Exposure to compliance and regulatory frameworks, ideally gained within a financial Services environment.
Technical
- Experience with Test Tools for Defect Management and Test Automation
- Delivery of test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports
- Delivery of API Testing using Postman
- Risk Based Testing
- Test phases including Unit, Integration, System, OAT
- SDLC Models (Waterfall, Agile)
- CI/CD Environments
- Ideally with experience using Katalon, Python.
