Test Analyst – Financial Services

About The Role
Qualitest is looking for an experienced Test Analyst to join our growing team, supporting Arbuthnot Latham across multiple technology platforms. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in end-to-end test delivery, working closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure high-quality solutions in a fast-paced financial services environment.
You’ll be responsible for both Functional and Non-Functional testing (SIT, UAT, OAT, Regression, Accessibility, and Security), while also contributing to the continuous improvement of testing standards, frameworks, and tooling.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Platform teams, BAs, and PMs to define effective test strategies.
- Design, develop, and execute test scripts to validate system functionality and business requirements.
- Support defect management, liaising with developers and stakeholders to track and resolve issues.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing new test automation tools and frameworks.
- Manage test environments and test data to support end-to-end testing.
- Champion testing best practices and contribute to process improvements.
Tech & Tools
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or ALM).
- Awareness of automation frameworks and tools (supporting automation delivery is a plus).
- Knowledge of Salesforce, FlexCube, Tercero, or other banking platforms is highly desirable.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Background in Financial Services (Wealth, Private, or Commercial Banking preferred).
- Strong manual testing expertise, with exposure to automation approaches.
- Experience working across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills – able to work with technical and business teams.
- ISTQB Foundation certification preferred; additional Agile, Scrum, or ITIL qualifications are a bonus.
