Role Description
This is a key role within the Data space at Admiral. The QA Engineer will work in multi-disciplined squads focusing on optimizing the DevSecOps model of delivery. The strategic vision includes enhancing Admiral’s cloud presence and shifting left in the testing process, with a particular focus on in-sprint test automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in a multi-discipline integrated team, refining and prioritizing backlogs while delivering in an Agile methodology.
- Define tools and frameworks to develop and maintain test automation.
- Collaborate with the development team to establish strategy and best practices.
- Provide clear and accurate documentation for tests and test automation.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Continuously update skills by staying informed of advancements in testing and test automation.
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- Extensive experience in testing and test automation.
- Expertise in building and enhancing complex test automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Strong experience in BDD frameworks like Cucumber or similar.
- Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) components.
- Experience in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with YAML / PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge of working in Agile environments and participating in QA-related Agile ceremonies.
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence, JIRA, and Git.
