About the Role:

We are currently seeking experienced Quality Engineers to join our team in Prestwick, Scotland. This role plays a key part in ensuring the delivery and maintenance of quality standards within our Prestwick Program Team, through strict adherence to internal processes, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for governing manufacturing processes, implementing quality tools and systems, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support continual improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and develop manufacturing processes to ensure compliance and quality output.
• Govern Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ensure procedures meet business and project standards.
• Provide regular quality performance reporting, analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and manage defect investigations.
• Oversee Material Review Board (MRB) activities and manage concession/non-conformance processes.
• Ensure inspection planning including FAI/V, LAI, and source inspection are maintained.
• Analyse supplier gap assessments and ensure APQP deliverables are met.
• Support people management processes including training and performance development.
• Serve as the project’s quality focal point for regulatory bodies, customers, and suppliers.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in aerospace or a related field.
• HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering or quality discipline preferred.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and familiarity with regulatory approval processes.
• Strong communication skills with experience in stakeholder and supplier engagement.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and aerospace manufacturing systems.
• Willingness and ability to travel for supplier or customer support as required.
