Test Engineer - £65,000 - Hybrid (3 days a week in the office) - Basingstoke
La Fosse is proud to partner with a insurance organisation to recruit a highly skilled Test Engineer to join their growing technology team. This is a pivotal opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-impact testing initiatives, particularly focused on robust, end-to-end API testing within a dynamic and fast-paced engineering environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive API test strategies to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of core systems. As the organisation continues its transformation toward a more modern, service-oriented architecture, API quality and performance are central to their success—making this role both technically challenging and highly visible.
As part of this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of software products through well-designed manual and automated testing strategies.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience in testing RESTful APIs
- Solid experience working with C#/.NET frameworks
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins
- Experience working with Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Utilise tools such as Postman, RestSharp, and REST Assured for API validation
Compensation:
£65,000 + 10% bonus
