Role Overview
We’re proud of our reputation for delivering best-in-class imaging, high reliability, and user-friendly solutions. Now, we’re looking for a Test Engineer to join our team in Redhill and play a key role in ensuring the quality and security of our RTT products.
Responsibilities
As a Test Engineer, you’ll be responsible for testing software and systems—including X-ray scanners and Matrix IT networks—under the guidance of the System Test Manager. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and effectiveness of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system verification and validation testing
- Develop test procedures and test cases
- Conduct functional, performance, regression, and cyber security patch testing
- Identify, report, and track software defects
- Install and validate cyber security patches on test servers and workstations
- Verify software builds and configurations
- Provide timely test results and feedback to design and development teams
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes
- Assist in planning test programs for RTT products
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with system, hardware, and software testing
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Understanding of the full system engineering lifecycle
- Knowledge of cyber security processes and patch testing
- Experience with tools like Helix ALM, Jira, or similar
- A methodical and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Degree or HND in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
