Automation Lead - Contract (£425 outside IR35) - Hybrid, London (3 days per week)

La Fosse has partnered with an established hospitality organisation to recruit a Contract Automation Lead. You will work closely with two Programme Managers, supporting the day-to-day running of test automation across multiple programmes. The role is predominantly hands-on, taking ownership of automation delivery while coordinating testing activities, managing priorities, and ensuring requirements are clearly understood and translated into robust automation test coverage.

Key requirements:

Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright (or other automation tools).
Lead and mentor a team of junior testers and be responsible for coordinating testing efforts across multiple programmes.
Take ownership of the delivery and maintenance of automation test suites
Work closely with stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure they are fully testable.
Represent the programme in discussions with wider teams and management.
Extensive experience writing unit and functional tests
Experience with Data testing using Snowflake
