Test Manager (6 Months, Outside IR35 - 3 Days On-Site in Port Dundas)

What You'll Bring

• Extensive Test Engineer background, with deep expertise across CRM, manual testing, UX/UI, E-commerce, and automation testing
• Proven track record delivering CRM systems testing, E-commerce platforms, and technical automation frameworks
• Solid experience working in agile or hybrid project delivery models
• Strong stakeholder management skills, liaising efficiently across dev, product, UX and business teams

Core Responsibilities

• Define, deliver, and evolve a comprehensive testing strategy covering manual, automated, CRM, UX/UI, and E-commerce domains
• Shape a test-maturity roadmap, transitioning from manual to automation-driven processes
• Lead test planning, estimation, and execution-including system, integration, regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing
• Embed automation using tools such as Selenium or equivalent, ensuring maintainability and CI/CD integration
• Measure and report on testing metrics-test coverage, defect detection rate, mean time to resolution-and drive improvement
• Provide transparent Real Time testing status reporting to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborate closely with Development, DevOps, Product, UX/UI and CRM teams to ensure quality is built in early and continuously
• Manage defect life cycle: triage, track, escalate, and ensure resolution in line with release schedules
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging best-practice adoption and facilitating feedback loops

Required

• Test Engineer background with proven experience across manual, automation, CRM, UI/UX, and E-commerce testing
• Hands-on with automation frameworks (eg Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and test management tools
• Ability to craft and deliver a test strategy and roadmap from scratch
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement

Desirable

• Experience in agile delivery and continuous testing environments
• Prior experience working on CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or Adobe Campaign
• Familiarity with UX and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Exposure to performance or security testing
