About The Role
An initial 12 month fixed term contract. The Role of the Test Technician is to execute, monitor, and report on software and hardware tests to aid in further developing the OSP system.
- Reporting to Test Lead.
- You might be required to travel UK
- Primary location of work will be at Ocado dedicated R&D site (Swiftfields Campus) or CFC site based in the UK
- Completion of specific product development testing
- Completion of commissioning activities
- Testing and Prototype Commissioning includes all OSP/OIA components:
- Bin, Grid, Bots, Service areas, Peripherals and User software
- Reporting on results of tests and detail findings/defects to allow development teams to resolve issues
- Working with Technology Project Managers and Engineering Project Managers on specific testing of new components
- Requirement to work out of hours/shift patterns as required to support site and testing programs
- Work towards departmental and project deadlines
- Troubleshoot and problem solve
- Tools or measuring equipment use might be required as an element of hardware testing activity.

- Background in Engineering or IT
- Flexibility in working hours and shift patterns
- ISTQB foundation
- Analytical skills
