The salary range for this role is £200 to £225 per day with a flexible work schedule, candidates could work 1-5 days a week up to 5 days across Ashford, Reigate and Guildford.
About The Role
At Inclusive Education Trust we are seeking to appoint inspirational and committed therapists/counsellors on a contract for services basis, to join our Therapeutic Team as part of an exciting pilot outreach programme working with partner primary schools across Key Stages 1 and 2.
This pilot project is designed to strengthen early intervention and inclusive practice, supporting children with emerging Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), behavioural, and pastoral needs. The role will contribute to reducing barriers to learning, improving engagement, and preventing escalation to more intensive provision and risk of permanent exclusion.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced or newly qualified HCPC, BACP or any equivalent registered creative arts, play and talking therapists to join a growing service.
You will initially provide therapeutic interventions via a contract for services (self-employed basis). Depending upon the success of this project there may be opportunities to move to permanent status in the longer term.
About You
The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting vulnerable young people to achieve their potential. They will have experience of working therapeutically with children and young people, a good all-round knowledge of supporting the mental health of students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, excellent organisational skills and a good sense of humour. A car and appropriate insurance are essential for this role.
