TMT Associate | 3PQE+ | Magic Circle

Our client, a leading Magic Circle firm, is seeking to hire an experienced TMT associate to join their highly-ranked practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of the most high-profile and complex matters, advising on a range of commercial and regulatory issues.

The team has specialties working across telecoms, digital platforms, financial services, life sciences and emerging technologies with role being focused primarily on commercial contracts. Additionally, there is also the opportunity to work on regulatory matters involving data protection, AI regulation, digital safety and cybersecurity.

You will advise clients (ranging from innovative scale-ups to global tech giants) on high-value IT outsourcing arrangements, transitional service agreements, procurement contracts involving AI, blockchain and other advanced technologies. The regulatory side includes both contentious and non-contentious matters, from major cybersecurity incidents to cross-border data enforcement actions and compliance advisory projects.

Key Requirements:

• Min. 3 years PQE from a leading City or international firm.
• Strong experience in commercial technology contracts is essential; regulatory experience (DP, AI or Cyber) would be high advantageous.
• Excellent drafting skills and a commercial mindset, with the ability to deliver practical, business-focused advice.
• Proactive, team-orientated and adaptable, with strong interpersonal and client-handling skills.
