Reporting to the Head of Experiential, we have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, dynamic and engaging individual to join the Central Events Team at McLaren Automotive. Based at McLaren’s global headquarters in Woking, Surrey, the role’s key deliverable will be the planning, management and execution of McLaren’s global track event programme. This includes Pure McLaren, customer track days, retailer-led activations, and bespoke driving experiences. The Events Manager will work alongside internal and regional teams, specialist agencies, and suppliers to deliver strategic, high-quality track experiences that showcase McLaren performance and engineering excellence, while also supporting the growth and expansion of the track programme in line with the wider business plan.
Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of track events worldwide, across a range of audiences, managing relationships with specialist track agencies, circuits, technical suppliers, and driver coaches. This role requires regular international travel, on-event presence, and weekend work. Significant responsibility for external agency leadership and internal stakeholder coordination, as well as indirectly managing large event teams on location.

Significant experience in event management with a focus on track events, motorsport, or automotive driving programmes University Degree qualification preferred Strong experience in supplier and agency management, including circuits, logistics partners and driver coaching teams. Proven ability to manage complex, multi-day track events end-to-end, within budget and to deadline. In-depth understanding of track operations, insurance processes, risk assessments and H&S compliance Experience working with HNWIs and delivering luxury customer experiences. Budget ownership and commercial negotiation experience. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident with global stakeholders and external partners. IT proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word). Knowledge of the luxury automotive sector and an understanding of motorsport culture advantageous.
