Global Trade Solutions (GTS) comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.
We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Trade Operations Manager, GTS.
In This Role, You Will
- Approve transactions across the GTS product suite.
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to cultivate an outstanding client journey.
- Be involved in structuring and act as a referral point for Energy and Materials clients.
- Be an escalation for internal and external partners/stakeholders.
- Seek out opportunities to refine our offering to grow wallet share within our existing customer base.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Have knowledge of Trade Finance and/or Bank Guarantees.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Have a good understanding of a Bank’s sustainability.
- CDCS/CSDG/CITF Qualification is advantageous, but not essential.
- Please note: This role can be based in the Manchester or Leicester office(s). The successful applicant will be required to spend part of their working week at this location. Hybrid working is available, but the role holder will need to live within a commutable distance of the aforementioned office(s).
