Join Cumberland Council as a Traffic Management Technician
Are you ready to make a real impact on road safety and traffic flow in your community? Cumberland Council is seeking a Traffic Management Technician to join our Highways Transport and Fleet Service. In this role, you'll help design and implement temporary and permanent traffic schemesincluding casualty reduction, cycleways, and parking solutionswhile collecting and analysing accident and traffic data to inform improvements.
Were looking for someone with a relevant technical or vocational qualification and experience in a technical team environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage budgets up to £500,000 are essential. Youll be part of a supportive team, with opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects and develop your skills in a flexible and collaborative workplace.
This role is available on a permanent basis.
