An exciting opportunity is available for a Neonatal Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team in Newborn Services Division at Saint Mary’s Managed Clinical Service.
Trainee Advance Clinical Practitioners will be supported with fully funded training to obtain your MSc in Advanced Practice. We are keen to appoint a trainee advanced practitioner with previous Neonatal Intensive Care experience and clinical skills wishing to progress their career in Neonatal care.
The successful candidate will be provided with a robust induction and personal development plan to meet their professional development needs whilst working closely with the ACP and Consultant Body.
The successful candidate will work across the Newborn Services Division including the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Oxford Road and the Local Neonatal Unit at Wythenshawe. You will be working across the department caring for babies requiring intensive care, high dependency and special care. In addition you will work within the postnatal ward setting caring for babies.
This role will be pivotal in providing clinical expertise in the delivery of the future models of care for greater Manchester.
For Trainee candidates, on completion of the ACP training, the post will progress to Band 8a following a period of consolidation.
