Based in Avonmouth, Plant-Ex ingredients in an international company specialising in the manufacture of Natural Food Ingredient Solutions, supplying across the globe either directly through our own facilities or through a number of selected distribution partners.
We specialise in spray drying food colourings and flavours as well as production of liquid food colours, flavours and extracts.

Sitting within the HR team, the Training and Facilities Administrator will support the business by managing key administrative functions related to health and safety, training systems and general facilities. This role ensures that our training and compliance records are accurate and up to date, our workplace is well maintained and all relevant contracts and services are monitored and maintained effectively.
Duties include:
· Maintain and update health & safety records, ensuring documentation is complete, current and compliant.
· Support incident reporting processes and follow-up actions.
· Assist with H&S audit preparation and documentation.
· Coordinate the scheduling of safety meetings and maintain minutes/action logs.
· Book in and track completion of Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments for all relevant staff.
· Administer the internal training platform.
· Track training completion and produce compliance reports.
· Liaise with department managers to ensure training needs are met and properly documented.
· Support onboarding processes by assigning induction and safety training to new staff.
· Act as a point of contact for facilities-related queries and tasks.
· Oversee service contracts such as cleaning providers, uniform supply and distribution, fruit & veg deliveries (or other wellbeing initiatives)
· Manage stock levels and reorders of supplies as required.
· Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure service standards are met.
· Support small office/facility improvement projects as needed.
· Support with ad hoc HR administration as required
