Transaction Management – Data Analyst (Contract)

Working with a Private Markets Investment Management firm who are on the lookout for a Data Analyst (Contractor) to work in their Transaction Management team. They are a mid-sized firm with a split between: Private Equity, Credit and Real Assets.

This is a middle office role focused on:

Data Entry

Transaction Management Controls

Transaction Operating Models, Processes & Improvements

Data Quality, Integrity and Governance

Data analytics and visualisation (Excel & Power BI)

I am looking for a candidate who has worked within operations at a private markets firm and has extensive experience around Transaction Management and Data/ Analytics. You should have over 3 years Private Markets operations experience either from buy or sell side and be able to move the dial. Role responsibilities will involve:

BAU Transaction Management work

Operating Model and Process improvement in Transaction Management

Investigating breaks and why they have occurred

Approval of bookings and payments

Change and Transformation – moving from VBA to Power BI

Working with senior stakeholders within the business

Working with on shore, offshore and 3rd party teams.

This is a 6-month contract initially with the opportunity to go permanent afterwards. 2 days per week required out of the London office. Rate on offer is dependent on experience, but the contract would be Inside IR35 via umbrella.
