Senior Java Engineer – Market Connectivity

1. You have strong core Java development with market connectivity experience
2. You have strong experience with multi-threading, messaging & ZeroGC techniques
3. You have experience of working on low latency trading systems
4. You have good working knowledge of Bash Scripting & Linux
5. You follow TDD/BDD and value the benefits of testing
6. You know what good code looks like and enforce the standards during PRs
7. You know how to use memory profilers and look at heap dumps
8. You are degree educated, Computer Science preferred or any STEM
9. Minimum Java experience: 10 years

Preferred Skills:

1. TransFICC Experience, highly desirable
2. Hot Code path optimization, Off-heap memory management techniques
3. JVM internals, tuning for low-latency
4. Low-latency messaging & data structures, network protocols, network I/O in Java
5. LMAX Disruptor, Multi-Reactor, Chronicle Queue/Map, Aeron/Agrona or similar
6. Your “can do” and helpful attitude matters the most!
