Responsibilities:

• You’ll assign work to drivers and mates, ensuring efficient vehicle and manpower use while monitoring performance and addressing issue
• Using Paragon daily, you’ll plan transport, optimise delivery routes, and minimise cost
• You’ll ensure drivers and mates follow SOPs, comply with Health & Safety regulations and operate vehicles within legal and company policie
• Training is key! You’ll induct, support and track development, identifying retraining needs as require
• You’ll produce accurate transport stats, manage orders, despatch notes and load sheets as well as assist the Late-Shift Warehouse Team Manager as and when needed.

Required Skills:

ln this role, being organised is only the start. You also need to be motivated, adaptable and able to take the initiative. Experience in Distribution, ideally in a Transport Office is a definite must. With this background, you’ll know all about stock control, key warehouse systems and regulations (for example EU Drivers’ Hours and software such as Optrak) however, it’s your people skills that will make all the difference.
