The Vacancy

Shape the future of logistics at Uniserve.

We are looking for a motivated and results‑focused Transport Planner to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient and cost‑effective movement of goods across our network.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (05:00–15:00, 08:00–18:00, 10:00–20:00) Flexibility to work across all three shifts when required is essential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Plan efficient delivery routes based on distance, traffic, and deadlines
Support and coordinate with drivers to ensure smooth daily operations
Work with warehouse teams to manage load distribution and vehicle capacity
Oversee vehicle utilisation and maintenance requirements
Monitor deliveries and provide timely updates to customers
Handle customer enquiries and maintain high service standards
Optimise resources to reduce operational costs
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
Analyse performance data to identify improvements
Collaborate with warehouse, drivers, and wider teams to maintain seamless operations
