Treasury Analyst

About the role

In the role of Treasury Analyst you will manage all aspects of treasury operations, including collections, cash applications, monitoring & resolving disputes and ensuring compliance. Ongoing communications and building relationships with internal teams, external customers and suppliers.

You will also be responsibility for reporting cash flow forecasts on a daily basis and working closely with Accounts Payable to balance with vendor payments. Other duties may include monthly accounting close cycle responsibilities and other ad hoc requests as directed, support with annual external audits, and provide cross functional backup in accounting operations when needed.

More specifically, responsibilities will include the following (not exhaustive list):

• Effectively manage treasury operations.
• Assist with managing and building bank relationships.
• Maintain cash accounts in banking software.
• Update and report accurate daily cash flow forecast to Finance Leadership.
• Manage day-to-day operational credit & risk assessment policy for customers/vendors.
• Develop strong internal controls and take ownership and complete special projects as required.
• Produce KPI results, review accuracy of treasury operations reporting and communicate results to Finance leadership.
• Work with finance business partners with integration of ERP systems to reduce manual processes.
• Participate and own treasury functions in any ERP integration – transition process
• Oversee management of timely and accurate cash application.
• Manage customer collections, monitoring and reporting on timely payments, processing credits and resolution of past due or disputed amounts.
• Provide analysis, reporting and general ledger reconciliations to external auditors for audit engagements.
• Work in collaboration with internal team SMEs to establish best practices and develop SOPs.
• Provide other general accounting and related support as required.

Desired Experiences/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance/treasury or a related financial field.
• Proficient in MS Suite programs (Excel/Word/Outlook/Teams, etc).
• Experience in Sage Intacct preferred.
• Strong computer/IT skills.
• Proven ability to complete work independently, accurately and with attention to detail.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks under tight deadlines effectively.
• Proven team player and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate well within the organization as remote employee.
• Possess a positive attitude & team-player.
