Treasury Assistant

We are now recruiting for a Treasury Assistant who will ensure the accurate and timely reporting of Treasury activities, while actively contributing to process enhancements and strategic improvements. ABOUT YOU

As the Treasury Assistant, you will have a natural passionate for numbers and be a self-starter – you will provide critical support to the Treasury Manager (Operations) and Treasury Manager (Middle Office), fostering effective collaboration with key internal stakeholders across the business.

Required skills and experience:

• Educated to degree level – Finance/Business degree preferred
• Willing to study towards an accounting or treasury qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AMCT)
• Proficient use of excel
• Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure to multiple deadlines
• Attention to detail, problem-solving and the ability to influence change in the organisation

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This role will be working a wide range of activities within the Head Office accounting function; therefore, we are looking for a strong team player, who is able work with resilience and at pace.

Key activities:

• Consolidate Group cash flow forecasts to support effective liquidity management
• Monitor daily cash positions and ensure accuracy of bank account balances
• Perform daily bank reconciliations within the Treasury Management System (TMS)
• Oversee settlement processes, ensuring timely and accurate transaction completion with financial counterparties
• Prepare treasury data and reports to support month-end closing activities
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure seamless month-end procedures
• Manage bank user access and maintain access rights in line with company policy
• Maintain accurate treasury records and ensure data integrity within the TMS
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls, maintaining audit-ready documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation and implementation of new treasury tools
