Treasury Manager - 12 month FTC

Overview

We are looking for a 12-month fixed term maternity cover for a Manager in the International Treasury team based at either our office in London or our Weybridge office. This is a high-profile role that will need to ensure we deliver the responsibilities of the team and provide Treasury expertise to our local markets.

Working as part of International Treasury, this role will be focused on key Treasury activity, including foreign exchange, cash management, trading, intercompany positions, cash forecasting, business partnering and project support.

Job Scope

International Treasury operates in a high value, high risk, highly dynamic environment where the Manager will need to liaise with local markets, banks, and other corporate functions to complete their activities. It is important that the role holder has knowledge of corporate Treasury processes.

The role acts as a subject matter expert, provides leadership and helps direct cash management activities for International Treasury.

Key Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate management of two cash pools and funding requests
• Review and management of intercompany balances and exposures
• Identifying and trading foreign exchange deals
• Ensure the hedging strategy is adhered to
• Providing Treasury expertise to local markets
• Review of daily cash forecast, including variance analysis
• Identifying and driving simplification and best practice with the team
• Regular reporting for controls and policy compliance

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and post qualification experience in a corporate treasury environment
• Ability to work independently and influence without direct authority
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player who will actively participate across other team activities
• ACT qualified would be advantageous
• Experience in corporate Treasury or banking
• Familiarity with large international presence with a multi-currency environment
• Ideally Treasury systems experience
