Role: Commercial Sales Apprentice – Agriculture Sector
Location: Shropshire, UK
Contract Type: 3 years 6-month Apprenticeship
Package Includes: £28,000 salary per year, plus company car, benefits, and a fully funded degree

Trident Feeds (part of AB Agri) is offering an opportunity for a driven and commercially minded individual to join as a Business-to-Business Sales Degree Apprentice.
This role involves managing your own regional customer base within the agricultural feeds sector, while studying towards a Level 6 B2B Sales Professional Degree — fully funded, with no tuition fees or student debt.
This is a field-based position, not a desk-based role. You will be expected to travel extensively across your region, meet customers face-to-face, and build strong commercial relationships. The role will include regular motorway driving and occasional overnight stays.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing your own customer accounts and sales ledger
- Conducting in-person meetings with merchants and feed manufacturers
- Creating and executing sales plans to grow your territory
- Balancing academic study with practical work commitments
- Attending industry events and training sessions
- Keeping up to date with market trends and identifying business opportunities
- Prior business-to-business sales experience (any sector) is essential
- A Level 3 qualification (e.g., A-levels or equivalent)
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Willing and able to commit to a three-year degree apprenticeship
- Comfortable with regular travel and overnight stays
- Agricultural knowledge or field-based sales exposure is desirable but not essential
- A fully funded Level 6 B2B Sales Degree
- Full-time paid role while you study part-time
