The London Neonatal Transfer Service (NTS) is offering 6-12-month fellowships starting September 2025, with the option to extend by mutual agreement. The posts suit senior middle-grade or post-CCT doctors who seek focused training in neonatal transport together with leadership, quality-improvement and operational experience before consultant appointment.

- In 2023-24 we processed 2,340 requests and completed 1,903 transfers, including 950 emergencies, making NTS consistently the UK’s highest-volume neonatal transfer service.
- Road-based with air capability, covering emergency uplift, palliative and elective repatriation across 26 London units, with occasional PICU transfers.
- A dedicated NTS Consultant Neonatologist is always available for clinical and operational advice.
- Fellows typically lead 80-100 emergency transfers in six months, each formally debriefed and logged for reflection.
