Key responsibilities:
· Lead the end-to-end design process for web and mobile applications.
· Define and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
· Mentor and guide UI/UX designers within the team.
· Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to inform design decisions.
· Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
· Ensure designs align with business goals and user needs.
· Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to translate requirements into design solutions.
· Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization.
· Stay updated on emerging design trends, tools, and technologies.
· Introduce innovative approaches to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· 7+ years in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in lead designer role.
· Proven portfolio showcasing design projects for web and mobile platforms.
· Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
· Experience with RESTful APIs and MuleSoft integration.
· Knowledge of UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
· Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
· Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
· Experience:
Technical Skills:
· Experience in government or citizen-facing projects.
· Understanding of API-led connectivity and MuleSoft architecture.
· Expertise in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.).
· Added advantage knowing AI-Powered & Emerging Tools
· Strong understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles.
Preferred Qualifications & Soft Skills:
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
· Experience with design systems and component libraries.
· Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
· Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.
