Kirby Group Engineering is looking for someone to lead our UK Power & Renewables engineering function. Not to sit in endless meetings or write reports no one reads. But to build, shape and energise a team that delivers.

What You’ll Actually Do
- Lead and grow a team of electrical engineers who support UK operations.
- Create a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Balance resources, risks and deadlines without losing sight of quality or safety.
- Act as the bridge between engineering, commercial, operations and clients.
- Build relationships that give Kirby an edge - with consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Spot issues before they become problems and deal with them head-on.
What We Need From You
- Experience leading engineering teams in power, renewables or heavy infrastructure.
- The confidence and presence to win respect at every level - from graduates to directors.
- The ability to simplify complexity, communicate clearly, and make decisions under pressure.
- A track record of building teams that perform - not just filling seats.
- Enough commercial awareness to understand how engineering decisions impact cost, delivery and client trust.
