UK IM Regulatory Reporting Accountant - Vice President

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of UK IM Regulatory Reporting Accountant - Vice President, to join our External Reporting team. This role is located in Manchester, UK and will be working in a hybrid capacity.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Manage external reporting staff responsible for daily operational and client activities for a business area or region.
- Oversee performance of assigned staff, coaching and guiding on operational execution.
- Set short-term team priorities and allocate resources appropriately to achieve external reporting objectives.
- Supervise teams conducting data management, analysis, and reporting for internal clients within External Reporting.
- Collaborate with internal and external clients to ensure team results meet expectations.
- Apply thorough understanding of regulatory reporting concepts, compliance, and regulatory bodies.
- Troubleshoot data requirements, identify efficiencies in data sourcing and report automation.
- Track and report on team metrics and results.
- Manage staff development and talent management processes including coaching, counseling, staffing, compensation recommendations, hiring, and termination decisions.
- Ensure focus on daily operational tasks to deliver on team initiatives and achieve daily operational goals for a defined process or function within a country, small business unit, or legal entity.
- Modify processes based upon local regulations and requirements.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Staff management required.
- Experience in trading, investment banking, or investment management preferred.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, established industry and company controls, and company reporting tools and practices.
