About This Job Opportunity
Role Pitch CloudPay is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented UK Payroll Specialist to join our expanding payroll team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for processing accurate and timely payrolls for a variety of multi-national clients operating in the UK, while also supporting Payroll Associates and contributing to continuous process improvements.
You’ll work collaboratively across teams to ensure all data is accurate and delivered on time, resolve queries efficiently, and help maintain CloudPay’s high standards of payroll excellence. Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
- Process multiple UK payrolls accurately, on time, and in line with client and statutory requirements
- Provide support and subject matter expertise to Payroll Associates as needed
- Review and validate payroll input and output data to ensure accuracy
- Investigate discrepancies and correct payroll errors before final processing
- Respond to payroll queries from internal teams and clients via ticketing and email systems
- Identify opportunities to improve existing payroll processes and contribute to solution development
- Act as a backup to senior payroll team members during their absence to ensure continuity of service
Attributes and Experience Required:
- Sound knowledge of UK end-to-end payroll processing, including statutory regulations and reporting
- Proficiency with business tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and email platforms
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, timely payrolls
- Positive team player with a collaborative approach and willingness to share knowledge
- Comfortable prioritizing multiple payrolls and managing workload effectively
- Confident communicator, capable of building relationships with clients and colleagues
- Previous experience in a payroll bureau environment is beneficial but not essential
