We are seeking a Technical Project Manager who can also act as a Customer Account Manager / Customer
Success lead for one or more UK-based client accounts where we deliver software consulting and professional
services. This role combines delivery ownership, client relationship management, and commercial awareness.
The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time and to quality expectations, while also
building trusted, long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand the engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Delivery Management
● Own end-to-end delivery of software consulting and services projects across technology, data, cloud, and
digital domains.
● Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
● Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams (onshore/offshore).
● Ensure adherence to agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
● Lead project governance, status reporting, and steering meetings.
2. Technical & Delivery Oversight
● Act as the primary delivery interface between client stakeholders and technical teams.
● Understand solution architecture, delivery approach, and key technical dependencies (not hands-on
coding, but technically credible).
● Ensure clear translation of business requirements into delivery plans.
● Oversee acceptance, testing, and handover activities.
3. Customer Account & Relationship Management
● Serve as the day-to-day client relationship owner for assigned accounts.
● Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders across technology, business, and leadership.
● Act as a point of escalation and ensure timely resolution of issues.
● Drive customer satisfaction, confidence, and long-term engagement continuity.
4. Customer Success & Account Growth
● Proactively identify opportunities for:
● Follow-on work
● Additional services
● Upsell / cross-sell aligned to client needs
● Support account planning and pipeline development in collaboration with sales and leadership.
● Ensure services delivered align with client outcomes and value expectations.
5. Commercial & Contract Awareness
● Operate within the boundaries of Statements of Work (SoWs), SLAs, and commercial terms.
● Manage change requests, effort tracking, and scope governance.
● Support invoicing milestones and commercial discussions where required.
Required Skills & Experience Essential
● 7–12+ years’ experience in technology project management or delivery management
● Experience managing software consulting / professional services engagements
● Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
● Solid understanding of:
● Software development lifecycle
● Data, cloud, integration, or enterprise platforms
● Experience working with offshore and distributed teams
● Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
● Comfortable operating in a hybrid delivery + account role
Desirable Candidate
● Experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Service Delivery Management
● Exposure to Data, Cloud, Digital, or AI-led programs
● Background in consulting or systems integration firms
● Familiarity with UK enterprise clients and delivery expectations
Qualifications & Certifications (Preferred)
● PRINCE2 / PMP / Agile / Scrum certifications
● ITIL or service management exposure (beneficial, not mandatory)
