UK Technical Sales Manager - Animal Nutrition

Do you have a strong technical understanding of animal nutrition? Have you got prior commercial experience in a nutrition based sales role? I'm recruiting for a global animal nutrition company, who are hiring a Technical Sales Manager - Animal Nutrition for the UK market.

Joining a global animal nutrition company, you will be paramount to the continued growth within the UK, focusing heavily on new business development and strategic engagement with industry stakeholders, delivering sustainable solutions to the monogastric and ruminant sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive New Business Development: Proactively identify, target, and convert new clients to secure new opportunities and deliver against budgets.
Stakeholder Management: Develop strong, long-term relationships with key nutritionists and decision makers across the animal nutrition industry and become the partner of choice.
Technical Sales: Provide product information and technical support to clients, managing sales funnels and collaborating on sales targets.
Commercial Support: Engage with the supply chain to forecast demand, manage stock levels, and guide pricing strategy.

Key Requirements:

This role requires a proactive sales professionals with a proven background in technical sales with the animal nutrition sector.

Technical Education: A BSc. or MSc. in Animal Nutrition is ideal.
Industry Experience: Proven experience in a sales role within the Animal Nutrition or Feed Additives industry.
Commercial Acumen: A strong commercial track record, with success in hitting sales targets and driving business growth.
Personality: Strong networking skills, and personable approach essential for building relationships with various stakeholders.
Travel: This is a UK-wide role, so willingness to travel within the whole of the UK is essential.
