Our creative team is seeking a seasoned Video Editor to collaborate closely with the Social and Live Event teams to create and deliver best-in-class creative campaigns and experiences..

DDA flexes across a myriad of accounts for Film & TV, Entertainment and FMCG brands. We specialise in extending the world of our entertainment and brand clients to the internet and also to real-life experiences.

About You

As a video editor at DDA, you'll play a pivotal role in creating visually stunning and engaging content that captivates our clients' audiences across various platforms. You are an intrinsic part of our creative studio team; whose output is as diverse as it is artistically ambitious. You are a high-performing independent contributor, who thrives in our fast-paced and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, finished videos
• Ensure videos adhere to established style guides and brand standards
• Utilise advanced editing techniques, including colour correction, visual effects, and sound design.
• Comfortable with quick turnaround times during LIVE events
• Manage and organise project files, ensuring efficient workflows.
• Prepare videos for distribution on various platforms (e.g., social media, broadcast, etc).
• Develop compelling visual assets for social media platforms, including graphics, animations, and videos.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as graphic designers and social creative strategists, to create cohesive final products.
• Participate in brainstorm sessions to contribute ideas

 Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in video editing and production, particularly in longer-form content (i.e., junkets, LIVE event recaps)
• Technically proficient in Adobe creative suite, crucially Premiere Pro and After Effects. Experience producing your own motion graphics is a plus.
• Strong video editorial capabilities across a diverse range of styles and formats with strong sense of pacing
• In-depth knowledge of current media codecs, bit rates, frame rates, asset management, archival and transcoding
• Ability to edit on-location in a high-pressure environment
• Proficient at creating and integrating graphics into video projects
• Strong organisational, writing and communication skills
• Able to multi-task projects effectively, independently and as part of a team
• Maintains a positive, can-do attitude with the ability to keep calm under pressure
• Oscillates comfortably between individual contributor and team collaborator, welcomes active workflow between editor and motion designer in development process
• Well-versed and on-top of current design trends, and the ever-changing social media landscape

We offer hybrid working with 4 days working from the London office and 1 day from home
