Job Title: Unit4 ERP (Agresso) Developer

Location: Hybrid

Salary: £45,000 (depending on experience)

Overview of the Role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Systems Developer with strong Unit4 expertise to support and enhance our clients Finance System. This role combines hands-on system configuration and development with integration work, support, and continuous improvement.

You will be involved throughout the lifecycle of system changes and enhancements, working closely with finance teams, technical colleagues, and external partners.

What You’ll Be Working On

Finance Systems & Integrations

Configure, develop, and enhance Unit4 ERP to meet evolving business needs
Design and maintain integrations using Unit4 APIs and web services
Support data flows between finance systems and third-party platforms
Contribute to improving data quality, system resilience, and performance

Delivery & Change

Take part in the end-to-end delivery of finance system changes

Understanding business requirements

Designing practical, supportable solutions

Configuration, development, and testing

Supporting releases and deployments

Work with stakeholders during acceptance testing and transition into live service

Ensure changes follow agreed governance and change control processes

Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve system usage

Operational Support

Provide advanced support for finance systems and integrations
Diagnose and resolve complex issues escalated from first-line support
Support upgrades, patches, and scheduled maintenance
Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge articles
Support user enablement through guidance, documentation, and training

Experience & Background

Essential

Strong hands-on experience with Unit4 ERP
Solid understanding of finance processes and ERP configuration
Experience delivering and supporting finance system changes end to end
Unit4 configuration and management tools

Workflows, automation, and reporting within Unit4

APIs and system integrations

Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and support live systems

Desirable

Oracle database
Web or integration technologies
Exposure to cloud-hosted or cloud-migration finance platforms
