The post holder will be expected to provide Locally Employed Doctor (LED) grade cover on a rotational shift basis throughout Urology. They will have to participate in the on-call LED rota and will be expected to supervise the FY1s in service delivery, inpatients, and day services. The post holder will provide a rapid response to A&E to facilitate the 4 hour trolley-wait target and during the on call shift, will be available solely for emergency duties.

- Undertake outpatient clinics and operating theatre lists as directed by the consultants.
- Participate in the Clinical Governance and Risk Assessment process.
- Offer a commitment to both postgraduate and undergraduate General Surgery training within the hospital.
- Work with the multidisciplinary team.
- Take part in the care of patients attending the department, including examination, investigation, diagnosis and treatment.
