We are offering a Level 3 User-Centred Design apprenticeship opportunity within our Digital Services team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in user-centred design, user research, and service improvement.
In this apprentice role, you’ll learn and support the design and delivery of digital products and services that are simple, accessible, and meet user needs. You will be contributing to meaningful improvements in how people provide, access and experience services.
You Will Be Supported Through
- A structured apprenticeship programme with learning modules
- On-the-job training and mentoring from experienced UCD professionals
- Opportunities to shadow and contribute to real projects
- Regular feedback and development reviews
The role will be hybrid, with the opportunity to work from home as well as a requirement to come into our office in Cardiff.
THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 24 MONTHS
As a User-Centred Design Apprentice, You Will
- Support the user research design and delivery of digital products and services
- Gain hands-on experience across the disciplines of user research, service design, business analysis, and content design
- Learn how to understand users, define problems, and co-create solutions.
- Develop foundational skills in user-centerd design within a public health context
- Contribute to meaningful improvements in how people provide, access and experience services
