In partnership with National Highways, Skanska is delivering the A47 road improvement project aimed at reducing congestion and enhancing safety. We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive
Utility Delivery Manager to join our infrastructure team in Norwich. The purpose of the role is to lead and manage all utility-related activities on the A47 Highways project.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the planning and coordination of all utility disconnections, diversions, and new supplies for the project.
- Act as the primary contact with utility providers on technical, scheduling and commercial aspects, develop phasing strategies and manage related risks and opportunities.
- Own and manage the project-wise Permit to Dig process and utility records management.
- Work collaboratively with National Highways, local authorities, designers, delivery team and third-party stakeholders to ensure effective utility coordination.
- Champion health, safety, environmental and quality best practices related to utility works.
- Ensure all utility-related works comply with relevant legislation, standards and client requirements.
- Manage and contribute to additional requirements that follow the Utilities programme of work, ensuring programmes are issued, monitored and delivered in accordance with the scheme’s requirements.
We're looking for:
- Experience of Utility project delivery management.
- Statutory Undertakers and Stakeholder management experience.
- Experience of a similar role within National Highways infrastructure projects.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant CSCS Card.
