Valuations Opportunity – London - Private Credit

Are you an experienced finance professional with deep expertise in valuations and private credit? This is a chance to step into a high-profile role with an international investment firm, working directly with deal teams and senior stakeholders to drive robust, high-quality valuation and portfolio insights.

This position sits within a central team responsible for portfolio monitoring, valuations, and investment reporting. It offers exposure across private debt investments and the opportunity to work with deal teams, oversee valuation process, and deliver insights on performance.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the monthly/quarterly valuation process across a complex private credit portfolio.
• Reviewing valuation models and assumptions (DCF, yield analysis, comparables).
• Coordinating with deal teams, finance teams, auditors, and third-party valuation providers.
• Monitoring market data, credit spreads, and macro indicators.
• Preparing and presenting materials for Investment Committees and senior management.
• Driving process improvements and contributing to system transformation projects.
• Providing ad-hoc deal support and portfolio analysis.

Key Requirements:

• ACA/CA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical background in valuations of private debt instruments.
• Solid audit/valuation experience with exposure to private credit or private equity-backed credit structures.
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Sharp commercial acumen and ability to challenge assumptions.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with strong communication skills.
